Answers to "Which is the subject? verb"
RE: Which is the subject? verb?

Users = subject

Require = verb

The word ''working'' may confuse some since it is a verb form, but I would say it is a present participle which introduces the phrase ''in multiple user configuration mode'' - you could just skip that phrase and think: ''users require.''
