Interview Question :: Good Beginner;s Book Needed for Windows Application Development using cSharp


Hello All.

I am trying to find a recommended Book to help me teach myself solid Windows (not web) development practices and clean coding using the C# programming language. What I hope to gain is a good understanding of basic programming practices (e.g. using conditional loops, etc.) using the C# language in the Visual Studio environment. I already have Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2000 installed on my laptop and have created some basic forms (very basic) using VB. Any suggestions for a good book that will help me achieve these objectives would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On Visual Studio's page, there is a link for a book specially made for Microsoft. You may also search for tutorials, but the only book I know its in Spanish, its called "Enciclopedia de Visual C#"
