I guess the real question is: "Why would you want to remove these files?" They don't take up any room. The first one is the modem for dial-up connection to the Internet. The second one is a part of your sound system. Java and Runtime allow you to view You Tube.com or any other moving type media. Macromedia works with Java and helps you see things that move, on the Internet as well. All of the Microsoft files help keep your computer working properly. The mouse suite is the section of the computer where all the functions for your mouse are kept, if you are not using the square mouse on the laptop. Anything displaying Network is vital to getting onto the Internet. The last one is the program driver for the square mouse called a pointing device developed by the Synaptic company for laptops and notebooks. Jan

don't remove them, rather go to start->run and type msconfig then under the startup tab remove anything you dont want. This means whenever ure computer starts up only the programs u need start. Speeds up your PC.

yes you pretty much need them all i would update your Net Framework SP too
