Has anyone had experience of dealing with CEX and know about their phone testing procedures. I left a new mobile with them N95 8GB to sell, they said it needed to be tested and to come back in 1 hour, went back and they said tomorrow because "they use an online system to test the phones"... next day wasnt ready, aparently the online system is "down" and now its tomorrow. I cannot find ANY online testing system for mobile phones, is this true? I think im being fobbed off. Please advise.

A woman my husband used to see years ago apparently saw me in a store shopping w/ my husbands sister. Somehow since I had no idea who she was or what she looked like, she calls my husband and asked him was I his wife? He answered her yes and she made the comment that he lefted her for me? Which naturally made me extremely angry. Anyway no less than 3-4 wks later we get a notice in the mail asking for child support on a 2 yr old child for my husband. Now obviously the child is 2 and to me it seems odd that she would ask for it now instead of back when he was born. The woman has 4 other children from multi other fathers. My husband says She claimed she doesnt know the father at the time and that he was told it wasnt his. The child even has her lastname and no father on the birth certificate. So since the papers where requesting support, (3MONTHS Ago) can someone explain to me the process? Why is it taking so long? Basically what needs to be done to speed us this matter, so we can go on.

What fish should I pick?
Basically, this is my assignment:
"You are a fish enthusiast! You love everything that swims but youre a little tired of looking at the same offerings at the pet store. Then, the idea strikes! What if you had a fish that glowed in the dark! Imagine the possibilities enhancing your fish tank, (not to mention your pocket book). So you go down to your friendly neighborhood biotech lab and start building your mutant! For your project, outline the reagents and procdures that you would use to generate a trangenic fish that glows under UV light."

Pretty much I have a blank resume, and only two prior jobs one lasting 10 months in food services and the other about a month and a half at sporting good store. I need a job I literally applied everywhere, even to hotels offering to be a cleaning lady. No job still. I ace interviews well. I have taken a year course at my high school for medical and office procedures. I can do a receptionist or office job well if i just get a little bit of training.
Can I get any adivce on getting an office job with no work experience when that is all that is wanted. They make it almost impossible to get a job with no experience. I would do wonderful at it, but I am having trouble finding a chance.
Any tips on how to make a great resume for these jobs would be exellent. I will vote for best answer.

Okay, i work for a pizza company called hungry howies and im only 15. I think he is practicing illegal procedures and i need your help cause i dont know who to contact about this. He likes to clock out employees and have them still work, like when we close at 9 and im closing down the store, he preclocks us out at 9:20 and i wont be done till 9:40. I already know he broke many labor laws for minor so im not gonna ask about them but this one really bugs me out. We have this soda machine at our work and we're not allowed to get drinks but everyone still does. He caught me one day and lowered my wage by 50 cents. It bugged out everyone that worked there cause they said it was illegal to do such since i stilled kept the same position. Then i recently found out that my wage was lowered 50 cents more and he never told me about this and i think for sure thats illegal. I want to take legal action on him cause i hate him cause hes been lieing since day one but dont know who to contact. HELP :(

why can't people shut down thepiratebay.com? it is an illegal activity and its hurting game companies a lot. for example Crytek the company that brought us Crysis was about to not release crysis warhead because of illegal pirating.why can't the website just be shutdown or prohibit downloading torrents? this stuff is hurting game companies and cut their profit which means they won't be able to make new games. il admit i have download a game(the name of which i will not say) and it was crap, so the next day i just went and bought it. I think the should be shut down or game companies should take anti-pirating procedures. it would be nice for them to make it impossible to copy game files of of the DVD/CD. My friend has his uncle in Bulgaria and his friend has a game store and like every month he gets all the new pc games for free, while the rest of us have to pay like $50.
legal steps should be taken.

I had a job interview last Monday with one of the managers at Kohl's and she loved me. It was a very brief interview about ten minutes, she explained the rules and procedures and gave me some paperwork to fill out like giving out references and agreeing to a drug test, she then said she would call me. The next day the store manager called me asking if I could work Sundays cause I requested it off and I told her I could and she then said they would be in contact with me. It's been a week and a half and still no word. Does it usually take Kohl's a while to hire people?

Basically, since last thursday, it has not been possible to connect to the internet through any of the computers/laptops in our house, nor through the PS3.
On the PS3, when I sign in online, it says "signing in" for about 30 secs before telling me "Error, you have been signed out". I ran a "connection test" and the computer said it could connect to the internet, just not to the PS3 Store.
On the computers, you can reach google, ask jeeves and all other top search engines, perform a search but you cannot then use any of the links on any of the pages. (E.G. if i search BBC, i click the link but the page does not load). Typing the websites ito the address bar does also not work, no favourites, or previously visited pages can be reached.
The connection to our house runs into a netgear router, which then feeds into one desktop, and two wireless boxes. We have tried resetting and re-programming both boxes, and the netgear router, but still cannot go any further than google when using Internet Explorer or Firefox.
We contacted our ISP (Pipex), and they talked us through several procedures trying to solve the problem through DNS settings etc. Eventually they told us to contact a computer technician, (after the £10 phone call), which will do if we cannot solve the problem ourselves, but I wanted to know if anyone else had any suggestions.
Is it possible we need a new router? Or could the problem source back to any wiring?
Before someone smartly asks if it is all plugged in correctly - Yes.
SUMMARY: I can connect to google, perform unlimited searches, but go no further. Google Mail does work, but ofcourse no further links do. The PS3 cannot connect online, and MSN does not work.
Any help appreciated, but the computer techinician will cost more money, so all suggestions considered. Cheers.

If you don’t know what the parents of your red-bellied newt look like, what can you do to determine the genotype of your pet?
a) Name the procedure (it is described the Monohybrid Cross (9.3) activity – it is used when trying to determine the genotype of an individual with a dominant phenotype but unknown genotype).
b) Show the 2 possible crosses, and provide the phenotypic ratios (be certain to include the color with each number) that will result from these crosses.

It seems that when somones get cancer they play the sympathy card and ask for donations... This lady got low grade breast cancer and her house is almost paid off and she has insurance. I know they dont cover everything but join the group. I am a survivor from 10 years ago and my check gets docked to this day for medical bills. I never asked for donations and it was tough but hey life sucks. This is BS when the people are either already living off the state or are well off. Ok her money is tight.. so refinance.... or pay it later. Instead they will set up jars at gas stations and stores telling a sad sob story asking for money or donations. Now there are situations where putting up a jar and asking for this would be appropriate... But for the most part these (certain) people are just trying to capitalize on their illness... This pisses me off and especially when you see it is not life threatening and it will only take a couple standard procedures .. performed millions of times

Hillary Clinton Unveils Food Safety Plan
Following the largest beef recall in our nation’s history, Hillary Clinton highlighted a series of food safety proposals she would pursue as President. This recall is not an isolated case – it is yet another troubling reminder that our food supply is at risk. Each year, tens of millions of Americans contract food-borne illnesses every year; hundreds of thousands are hospitalized; and thousands die. And the risks are only growing. Last year alone, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) oversaw 21 recalls related to E. coli in meat, compared with just eight in 2006. One of those recalls involved more than 20 million pounds of ground beef that caused nearly 100 illnesses in the United States and Canada. In addition, yesterday’s recall by Hallmark/Westland is the second-largest supplier to the U.S. School Lunch program and a substantial supplier to other federal food and nutrition initiatives.
Hillary believes that American families should not have to worry about the safety of food on their dinner tables or in their children’s school lunches. That is why she has proposed common-sense – and long-overdue – food safety reforms, building on her work in the Senate. As President, she will:
Immediately conduct a thorough audit of our nation’s food safety systems to locate weaknesses and gaps. The current recall raises a number of questions, including how USDA failed to detect violations at the Hallmark/Westland plant and what steps USDA will take to ensure that all of the meat is removed from grocery stores and school cafeterias. Hillary will seek a report with recommendations on immediate and long-term reforms.
Increase USDA food safety funding by more than 50% so that our inspectors have the resources and staffing they need to do their jobs. USDA conceded that the cattle involved in this recall “did not receive complete and proper inspection.” This year, USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service will have a budget of $930 million. Much of that money goes to fund 7,800 inspectors responsible for inspecting 6,200 slaughterhouses and food processors across the nation. Hillary will move over time to increase that budget to $1.5 billion and to bolster the inspection force.
Move toward a single Food Safety Administration responsible for all food products, with strong authorities to protect consumers. Hillary will work to centralize our nation’s food safety efforts in one agency, so that multiple bodies are not policing imports and setting separate standards. Right now, 15 agencies administer more than 30 laws related to food safety. The result is overlap, gaps, and waste. At times, our system is downright bizarre. For example, a ham and cheese sandwich on one slice of bread is the responsibility of the USDA. But a ham and cheese sandwich on two slices of bread is the responsibility of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Hillary believes that the current regulatory system is broken and that we can only meet the challenges we face through a single agency that uses a uniform system of tracing and inspection to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality from food’s origin to it consumption.
Give our safety agencies mandatory recall authority and direct them to create a national tracing system so we can determine the origin of tainted food. Hillary will authorize the FDA and USDA to mandate recalls of tainted products. Right now, the FDA and USDA lack mandatory recall authority. And the Government Accountability Office has found that current food recall systems have additional severe flaws: (1) FDA and USDA are often unaware of how promptly and completely companies carry out recalls; (2) FDA and USDA do not promptly confirm that recalls have made it all the way down the distribution chain; and (3) public notification procedures are often ineffective. Hillary will direct the new food safety agency to address these shortcomings. She will also direct the new food safety agency to establish an integrated national traceback system to help regulators trace food products and ingredients from their point of sale back to their origin. At present, there are gaps in our ability to determine the source of unsafe food and animal feed, which hinders efforts to control outbreaks and curb them before they spread. We must ensure that we have adequate tracking and monitoring mechanisms in place to ensure the health of our livestock, our farmers and our consumers nationwide.
Find, prosecute, and punish food production facilities that abuse animals and allow unsafe food to enter our food supply. Hillary will strengthen safety rules and increase civil and criminal penalties for violations of federal food safety regulations. She will direct federal prosecutors to aggressively crack down on offending companies. And she will also make it illegal for companies to violate recall requirements, and impose severe civil and criminal penalties for violations.
Ban the slaughter of downed animals. Part of ensuring that we have a safe food supply is making sure sick and injured animals are humanely euthanized, not slaughtered and put into the food supply. Twelve of the 15 cases of mad cow disease in North America were linked to downed animals. Downed animals are also three times more likely to carry E. coli, and according to one analysis presented at the American Meat Institute conference, 14% of downed cows carried salmonella. After the mad cow disease scare in 2003, the USDA put in place a temporary ban of the slaughter of downer animals, but a 2006 investigation by the USDA Inspector General revealed that the ban has not been well enforced and that more than two dozen downed animals were allowed into the food supply over a nine-month period. Americans need to have confidence in our meat suppliers, and the current temporary ban must be made permanent. As President, Hillary will impose and strictly enforce a permanent ban on the inhumane practice of slaughtering downed animals and putting them in the food supply.
