SQL Server Certifications Interview Questions
I am planning to get that 1 test certification
MCTS Sql server 2005. In my previous post somebody told me that NOBODY will hire me if I don't have experien e & a degree. Will a cert will help? I am 48 so I will hate to waste my time in something who will give me no opening at all.
I am currently preparing a certification ( SQL Server 2005 70-431). I am planning to pass it in 5 months. How many hours per day should I study? Some friend told me 7 Hours per day. But it seems a lot to me.
I am currently extremely poor for personal reasons, so this certification might turn things around. Also should the study time include the lab simulation test & experience?? Thanks
You can have the MCDBA certification to fully concentrate on Sql Server 2005.
I will finish my MCTS. Also should I take the SQL Server Developer or Administrator as certification? I can't afford to get into the wrong path as I am becoming old.Thx.
Presently I am working as a software tester (manual testing). I am very interested to work on database, that's why I am looking to update on SQL Server. Is ther any certifications for sql server?, kindly let me know.

Thanks in advance.

That depends on your experience with SQL Server 2005. If you are just starting to use it, then you will probably find the exam fairly difficult. If you are a full time SQL Server 2005 Database Administratior or Database Developer and you have been using SQL Server 2005 for a while then it shouldn't be that hard.

Personally I installed my first SQL Server 2005 server into production shortly after the product was released (November 2005). I took this test back when it was a beta exam in December 2005 and I didn't find it that difficult. However I've been a full time SQL Server Database Administrator for the last 8 or 9 years.
I would like to take Microsoft SQL sever certification. please provide me with the exam details.
I am passing my 70-431 SQL SERVER 2005 exam.
I have no experience beside my lab experience with SQL.
Will I be able to get an entry level position? I am 45 so please don't mention any internship. I am currently working full time as hotel clerk so no time to go for a free internship.
I live in Dallas TX. What are my options?

Regards.
